About Me:

I have been creating art since a very early age. I was born in Conway SC, and raised in Opa-Locka Florida until the age of 14. I spent my teenage years in Petersburg VA, where I excelled in track and field,football, and my passion, art. I sold my first painting in the fourth grade to a lawyer in Miami, whose name I can't remember for the life of me. I won numerous art awards throughout Dade County. During high School I displayed my work at the Virginia Museaum of Art. I was accepted to Art school but decided to take a track and field scholarship at St. Augustine's College, in Raleigh NC. After a short stint as a sprinter, I decided to focus on my true love...art. During my matriculation at St. Augustine's College, I had the honor of studying and experiencing a great journey of creative exploration under Prof. Juan Scivally and Virginia Tyler. During this period I won my first art show and also hosted my first of many solo art exhibitions. I was involved with many programs such as the Upward bound program and the Cary NC Chapter of the NAACP, working with local youth iorganizations and painting murals. My wife is my life and inspiration...my muse. I presently reside in Phoenix , AZ
