I have been nurtured into appreciating many forms of Arts, thanks to a mother who would take every opportunity to take us to Exhibitions in Galleries, Museums, and other places of display.In Madagascar, she would take us to the Malagachy celebrations , wether it was the birth of a child , or the sacrifice of the zebu and other religious ceremonies. We would be nearer to those amazing people and share their happiness, joy, food, and frienship.
Having lived in differant countries ,my vision and understanding of Arts is not restricted to the well known, but I love what people call ETHNIC Arts and Musics.
They convey what is really in the guts and have no boundaries on the expression!
My taste in Music has been influenced by Myriam Makeba, The Platers, Amstrong, Muddy Waters, Ray Baretto, Yma Sumac, Afro Cuban music, Japaneese one,and the Great Classics ; Mozart, others!
The film which has been openning my mind and heart : "The Naked Island ", a Japaneese movie that I saw in the 1968 or so years ! A beautifull B& W movie, whith only music on the background!Retracing the life of a family on a island near Japan!
I love to be engulfed in music while painting or planning a photograph.
The spirit can then fly to higher heights and the soul be lifted to reach what is within the most inner parts of the being.
The Creative process can the begin, and the flow of emotions, smells, senses,feelings,experiences ,surface.
The "Birth" can begin.

LOCKED CUPBOARD
If we forget them,
Lock them in the cupboard of our mind,
And wait,
Sometimes years,
*Before we remember
What we said,
And why!
What do our words mean,

They are never remembered !
Sometimes its too late,
To fix the cracks,
To rebuild,
What has been pulled down!
Why is trust ,
Priceless ?
Gentle words, are like sweet honey
For the soul,

MANIPULATION'DEN GROUP
Someone interested in joining the group, didnt get an answer sometime ago, because I misplaced the mail! So please could you ask again if you are still interested! My apologies again.
Life has been very busy indeed and with the coming up, exhibition, ELF and I have had to prepare everything, for the DATE!
