Many thanks Sharon for sharing this information, I have been busy 'copyrighting my work(s) and preparing for an interview on Imagekind. I will follow up on these sites that you have provided.
I am the definition of novice when it comes to digital photography. I have loved 35mm SLR photography for decades and enjoyed my own darkroom which was like stepping into my own brain...I loved the tools and the magic of the paper in the developer...I loved witnessing the image emerge as it did to my eye. I'm having a lot of trouble with digital photography in the absence of these nuances. I would love to hear how digital photography has captured the passion of the photographers here at Sutdio 34. I wonder what I'm missing in the process that keeps me on the outside of the lens...I admire the skill that I've seen here a great deal and would love to hear your stories.
Thank you, Lori...I've taken two shots to begin exploring. I know that I have more of an affinity towards nature so I started there...any comments, critiques or laughs at my gaffs is all appreciated! :)
Also, I took some shots that said "data corrupted". I can see them clearly when I look at them on my mac but when I try to save them they're all "disjointed" or won't save at all. Any ideas on what may be causing this or repair them is appreciated too. I'm going to throw some of my guesses out there to kick things off: low battery? or bad memory card?
